Description ( English )

Heaths of the subalpine and lower alpine levels (1700-2000 m) of the eastern and southern Carpathian Mountains, common and widespread, but occupying small surfaces, dominated by [Rhododendron myrtifolium] ([Rhododendron kotschyi]), [Vaccinium gaultherioides] and [Vaccinium vitis-idaea], with some regional species such as [Soldanella hungarica ssp. major], [Potentilla aurea ssp. chrysocraspeda], [Melampyrum saxosum], [Campanula abietina] and [Campanula serrata].
