Description (English)
Secondary grasslands of wide present distribution in the Pannonic basin, developed mainly on sites previously occupied by primary steppes and forests of wooded steppe zone, with a grazing-induced simplified stratification and resulting predominance of low grasses and forbs, in particular, Cynodon dactylon, Carex supina, Achillea collina, Bromus mollis, Falcaria vulgaris, Bothriochloa ischaemum, Pimpinella saxifraga, Agrimonia eupatoria, and presence of weeds such as Echium vulgare, Convolvulus arvensis, Plantago lanceolata, Veronica arvensis.
