Festuca wagneri sand steppes
Description (English)
Pannonic semiclosed sand steppes dominated by fescues of the Festuca wagneri group, and, in the more evolved stages, by Stipa spp., intermediate between the Festuca vaginata formations of E1.2F2 and the closed Festuca rupicola grasslands of E1.2F4, with a species cortège drawn from both the Festucion vaginatae and the Festucion valesiacae.
