Moeso-Thracian mesophile cold water meadows
Description (English)
Species-rich mesophile hay meadows of the lower slopes and foot of the southern flank of the Balkan Range, developed on calcareous substrates and with a supply of cold surface and ground water originating in the upper levels of the mountain, dominated by Poa pratensis, Alopecurus pratensis, Alopecurus rendlei (Alopecurus utriculatus), Festuca pratensis and with orchids, Clematis integrifolia, Cladium mariscus, Merendera sobolifera, Galium rubioides.
