Description (English)

Fagus sylvatica or Fagus sylvatica-Abies borisii-regis forests, characterized like those of unit G1.661 by their reduced medio-European character and high endemism, isolated, west of the main Pindian range of Hellenic beech forests, in mountains of the Chassia and Olympus groups, in particular in the Andichasia, Olympus and Pieria ranges.
