Description ( English )

Extensive [Quercus cerris]-dominated forests of the hills and low mountain slopes of the mountains of north eastern Greece including the Pindus, the Moeso-Macedonian mountains, the Rhodope mountains, the Thessalian mountains, in particular of the supra-Mediterranean level of northern and middle Greece (Macedonia, Thrace, Epiros, Thessaly, Central Greece), of the xerothermal oak belt of southern and southwestern Bulgaria, of the F.Y.R. of Macedonia and of Albania.
