Description (English)

Inland dunes of the Pontic plain and of neighbouring basins, including the lower Danube basin of Oltenia and Muntenia and the northern Thracian plain, the northern Black Sea-Sea of Azov plain with the basins of the Dnieper and the Don, northeast to the Volga, east to the Caspian deserts and semideserts, southeast to the pre-Caucasian hills in the basins of the Kouban, the Manytch, the upper Kuma and upper Terek (units E1.2D1 and E1.2D3).
