Description (English)

Steppes of the Anatolian Plateau, of Transcaucasia, of the eastern cis-Caucasian hills of Daghestan and the Terek basin, of the Iranian Plateau, the Kopet Dagh, the Pamir-Alai, the extreme western Tien-Shan, around the rim of the Ferghana basin and along the spur of the Karatau, and of northern Mesopotamia.
