Formations of halo-nitrophilous annuals dominated by Frankenia pulverulenta colonizing salt muds susceptible to temporary inundation and extreme drying in openings within Artemisio austriacae-Poetum bulbosae or Obionetum pedunculatae communities of lagoon systems of the Black Sea, the Azov Sea and the Danube Delta.
