Northern ling coastal dune heaths
Description (English)
Open heathlands of inner coastal dunes of Denmark, of the southern and southeastern Baltic coast, of southern Scania, the Kattegat coast of Sweden, Åland, Gotland and the Öland-Archipelago Sea dominated by Calluna vulgaris, with Empetrum nigrum, Carex arenaria, Deschampsia flexuosa, Hieracium umbellatum, Lotus corniculatus, Polypodium vulgare, Salix repens, and a ground layer constituted mostly by Dicranum scoparium and Pleurozium schreberi.
