Description (English)

Calamagrostis pseudophragmites-dominated communities of rivers originating in the Alpine and Carpathian arcs complex. Characteristic plants include Epilobium dodonaei, Agrostis gigantea, Phalaris arundinacea, Tussilago farfara. Like those of unit C3.5521, these communities are gravely threatened by widespread watercourse alterations affecting natural flow regimes.
