Arborescent matorral of calcareous substrates of the Iberian peninsula, France, Italy, the large western Mediterranean islands and Mediterranean North Africa dominated by Quercus ilex, Quercus rotundifolia or Quercus coccifera. For Quercus ilex or Quercus rotundifolia matorrals.
