Gorse-phlomis scrub
Description (English)
Formation endemic to the base-rich volcanic rocks of the mountains of Cabo de Gata, dominated by the gorse Ulex argenteus ssp. erinaceus, of extraordinarily limited range, accompanied by Phlomis purpurea ssp. almeriensis, Phlomis caballeroi and numerous elements of thermo-Mediterranean scrub, Asparagus spp., Pistacia lentiscus, Quercus coccifera, Chamaerops humilis.
