Description (English)
Steppes of the northern Black Sea-Sea of Azov plain, of the basins of the Dnieper and the Don, extending west to the Dniestr, northeast to the Volga, east to the Caspian deserts and semideserts, southeast to the pre-Caucasian hills in the basins of the Kouban, the Manytch, the upper Kuma and upper Terek.
