Description (English)
Acidophilous snow-patch communities of boreal and arcto-alpine mountains of Scandinavia, Iceland and the Scottish Highlands dominated by coarse tussocky grasses, in particular, Deschampsia cespitosa, sometimes associated with large hypnaceous mosses.
