Hercyno-Jurassian collinar woodrush beech forests
Description (English)
Acidophilous forests of Fagus sylvatica, or Fagus sylvatica and Quercus petraea, of the Neckar, the Spessart, the Rh”n, the Swabio-Franconian Forest, of the collinar level of the Thüringian Forest and of the Swabian and Franconian Jura, forming a subcontinental ensemble of communities poor in Atlantic species, and characterized, in particular, by the frequent prevalence of Poa chaixii.
