Stranja bearberry tree-oriental beech forests
Description (English)
Beech forests of the Stranja-Istranca mountains dominated by Fagus orientalis, less rich in lauriphyllous shrubs than those of G1.6E122, more similar to those of G1.6E11, although slightly richer in Euxinian elements, with a cortège that includes, locally, Vaccinium arctostaphylos, otherwise formed primarily by Primula vulgaris ssp. sibthorpii (Primula rosea), Trachystemon orientalis and Scilla bithynica.
