Illyrian black pea sessile oak woods
Description (English)
Thermophilous, sub-Mediterranean Quercus petraea woods of the Carpinion illyricum zone of the Drava and Sava basin, occupying sunny steep slopes, with Quercus cerris, Fraxinus ornus, Sorbus aria and a cortège of the Ostryo-Carpinion that includes Lathyrus niger, Melitis melissophyllum, Serratula tinctoria, together with Carex flacca, Galium sylvaticum.
