Description (English)
Meso-xerophile, neutrophile mixed oak forests of Quercus frainetto, accompanied by some Quercus dalechampii, Quercus polycarpa, Quercus pubescens, Quercus virgiliana, Fraxinus ornus, Carpinus orientalis, Tilia tomentosa in the tree layer, Cornus mas, Cotinus coggygria in the shrub layer and many sub-Mediterranean species, including Paeonia peregrina, Mercurialis ovata, Piptatherum virescens, Lychnis coronaria, in the herb layer, limited to small insular surfaces in the lower Danube valley of Bulgaria and in the Romanian Dobrogea.
