Thermophilous Fraxinus ornus woods, characteristic, in particular, of the Banat hills and the pre-Balkanic plateaux and hills of the lower Danube basin, dominated by Fraxinus ornus with Cornus sanguinea, Tilia platyphyllos, Tilia tomentosa, Ulmus minor, Carpinus orientalis.
