Description (English)

Acidophile fir forests of the montane or submontane levels of the Dinarides, developed in stations edaphically or microclimatically unfavourable to beech, dominated by Abies alba with a varying admixture of Picea abies and Fagus sylvatica, with a species cortège composed by elements of the Fagetalia (Fagion illyricum) and of the Piceetalia.
