Dacian beech-spruce forests
Description (English)
Picea abies-dominated forests of the montane level of the Romanian, Ukrainian and eastern Serbian Carpathians, east of the Uz and the Stry, and of the west Ukrainian pre-Carpathic hills and plateaux, within the range of Fagion dacicum beech-fir forests, of which they may constitute a facies or a substitute in stations edaphically or microclimatically unfavourable to beech and fir.
