Southern Alpine Pinus nigra forests
Description (English)
Pinus nigra ssp. nigra (Pinus nigra, Pinus austriaca) forests of dry, sunny, rocky steep slopes and cliffs of the southeastern pre-Alps (Carnian pre-Alps, Julian pre-Alps, Carso), between 200 and 1200 m altitude, with Cyclamen purpurascens and Aquilegia einseleana.
