Description (English)

Large Pinus pinea forests and ancient plantations of the Tyrhenian and Adriatic coasts of the Italian peninsula, in Liguria, Toscany, Latium, Campania, Emilia-Romagna (Ravenna) and Friuli-Venetia Giulia (Grado). At least the forests of the Adriatic coast, between Ravenna and the P“, are of natural origine, with a continuous record since post-glacial times.
