Description (English)
Species-poor poor fen lawn communities of the Palaearctic domaine, in particular, of northern and western Fennoscandia, dominated by Scirpus cespitosus (Trichophorum cespitosum) and Eriophorum vaginatum, with a ground layer dominated by Sphagnum papillosum, Sphagnum compactum or Sphagnum balticum, with Sphagnum magellanicum, Sphagnum rubellum, Sphagnum tenellum; the species cortège includes Andromeda polifolia, Drosera rotundifolia, Menyanthes trifoliata, Myrica gale, Vaccinium oxycoccos, Carex pauciflora.
