Description (English)
Marshy riverine woods of Alnus glutinosa, Fraxinus angustifolia and Fraxinus pallisiae of the Pannonic plain, of neighbouring Illyrian hills and mountains, and of the northwestern Black Sea lowlands of the lower Danube, Prut, Dniestr, Dniepr and Don basins, with Viburnum opulus, Frangula alnus, Cornus sanguinea in the shrub layer and Lycopus europaeus, Oenanthe aquatica, Carex acutiformis, Polygonum hydropiper, Rubus caesius in the herb layer.
