Rare Alnus glutinosa swamp woods of peat bogs of central Romania, with Spiraea salicifolia, Euonymus nanus, Frangula alnus, Ribes nigrum, Salix cinerea in the shrub layer and Carex elongata, Calamagrostis canescens, Ligularia sibirica, Thelypteris palustris in the herb layer.
