Description (English)

Oligotrophic, species-poor spruce swamp woods of the western Palaearctic taiga dominated by Picea abies or Picea obovata with an understorey dominated by Equisetum sylvaticum and Sphagnum girgensohnii, accompanied by a species cortège that includes Calamagrostis purpurea, Carex vaginata, Linnaea borealis and many species in common with that of unit G3.D541.
