Description (English)
Summital community of the Chionistra, in the Troodos group, developed above the tree limit, at about 1900-1950 m above sealevel, with Berberis cretica, Sorbus aria ssp. cretica, Rosa canina ssp. dumalis, Juniperus foetidissima and tragacanthic shrubs, in particular, Astragalus echinus, Alyssum troodii, Teucrium cyprium, Nepeta troodi, Satureja troodii. Other highly restricted endemics include Onosma troodi, Scorzonera troodea.
