Iberian montane mat-grass swards
Description (English)
Supra-mediterranean acidophilous communities rich in Nardus stricta with an accompanying cortège similar to that of the Iberian subalpine Campanulo-Nardion (unit E4.36), rather than to that of the Atlantic and sub-Atlantic Violion caninae (unit E1.7), occurring in particular in the Quercus pyrenaica level of the Cordillera Central.
