Macaronesian inland cliff

Description (English)

Cliffs in Macaronesia away from coastal salt-spray with perennial vegetation of crevices and ledges. In some places, they are dominated by succulents, in others rich in ferns and bryophytes characteristic of shaded situations. They host several hundreds of taxa endemic to the Macaronesian archipelagoes.
