Pools and lagoons sometimes associated with Vermetus spp. (infralittoral enclave)
Description (English)
This habitat is characterised by a high variability in ecological conditions. It is sometimes characterised by facies with sessile gastropod vermetids located in the middle level of the sea water. It forms well-developed vermetid platforms in Sicily, Corsica and in the eastern Mediterranean basin.
