Assemblages of the slowly drying wracks biocenosis in Mediterranean supralittoral mixed sediment
Description (English)
Decaying algae and other plants (eg Salicornia spp, Posidonia) on supralittoral mixed sediments inhabited by a wide range of detrivores and their predators such as Amphipods (Orchestia), Isopods (Tylos sardous and Halophiloscia couchi), Gasteropods (Truncatella subcylindrica, Alexia mysotis, Alexia firmini and Ovatella bidentata) Centipedes, Pseudoscorpions, Coleoptera, especially of the genera Bledius, Diptera and Forficula auricularia.
