Description (English)

Baltic bottoms in the photic zone with at least 90 % coverage of hard clay. Sessile/semi-sessile epibenthic bivalves cover 10 % or less of the seabed but more than other perennial attached erect groups.

Substrate is hard clay. Depth range: photic zone. Typically high energy exposure areas.
