Description (English)

A raised stratum of Eunicella cavolini on a surface that is often built into a concretion by algae associated with various animal species such as the crust-forming and erect bryozoans Schizomavella spp., Pentapora fascialis, Turbicellepora avicularis, Celleporina caminata and Myriapora truncata, Serpulidae, cnidarians like Alcyonium coralloides, Alcyonium acaule, Leptopsammia pruvoti and Caryophyllia smithii, ascidians like Halocynthia papillosa and Microcosmus sabatieri.
