Association with Rodriguezella strafforelli

Description (English)

This association populates hard poorly-lit substrata, in a sheltered environment, at about 25-45 metres depth. The association was described in 1975 by Augier and Boudouresque and contains as other characteristic plant species Blastophysa rhizopus, Ceramium bertholdii, Polysiphonia subulifera, Rodriguezella pinnata, Spermothamnion johannis and Sphacelaria plumula.
