Sponge communities on Atlantic upper bathyal rock
Description (English)
This broad community contains assemblages where sponges dominate sediment habitats. Sponges can be of all morphotypes except encrusting. Aggregations of Axinellid sponges as well as lobose sponges have been recorded on Atlantic mid bathyal rock.
