Description (English)

Cool, moist forests with a multispecific tree layer (especially maples Acer spp., lime Tilia spp., ash Fraxinus spp. ) of variable dominance, most often on more or less abrupt slopes. They are of considerable biohistorical and biogeographical importance, as examples of the mixed forests of the Atlantic period, preserved in stations inaccessible to beech domination.
