Eastern Alpine calcicolous Larix and Pinus cembra forests
Description (English)
Subalpine and montane Larix decidua, Larix decidua-Picea abies, Pinus cembra or Larix decidua-Pinus cembra forests of the eastern and central Alps, mostly of the outer ranges, on calcareous substrates, with a usually species-rich undergrowth including Erica herbacea, Polygala chamaebuxus, Rhododendron hirsutum or Pinus mugo.
