Description (English)
Baltic bottoms in the hydrolittoral zone (with level fluctuations due to tide or weather ) with at least 90 % coverage of hard clay. No perennial attached erect group has ? 10 % coverage.
Physical environment
Substrate is hard clay. Depth range: photic zone. Typically high energy exposure areas.
