Sclerophyllous, lauriphyllous or drought-deciduous scrub and thickets established on dunes of mediterranean or warm-temperate humid regions. They are partially represented by classes of Ononido-Rosmarinetea, Quercetea ilicis, Cisto-Lavanduletea, Retametea raetami, Cisto-Micromerietea and Ammophiletea.
