Mediterranean temporary ponds
Description (English)
Very shallow temporary ponds (a few centimetres) which exist only in winter or late spring, with flora mainly composed of Mediterranean therophytic and geophytic species belonging to the alliances Isoetion, Nanocyperion flavescentis, Preslion cervinae, Agrostion salmanticae, Heleochloion and Lythrion tribracteati.
